Algoma's PACE is home to various post-secondary education programs for learners with different educational levels, offering multiple professional credentials, including micro-credentials, graduate certificates, English as a Second Language, and more.
Most of Algoma's Professional and Continuing Education programs require a post-secondary education at the university level. Please check the applicable requirements in the Program Section by selecting the page for the education program of your interest.

Language of documents
All documents not originating in the English language should be accompanied by a certified English-language translation. You will need to provide a notarized English-language translation if official certification by the translation agency is not available in your country.
Full package
All post-secondary degrees and diplomas must be accompanied by official transcripts.

Observing the deadlines around submitting your application is necessary to be considered for admission to your chosen Algoma Professional and Continuing Education program for your desired academic term.

If you are an international learner who currently does not have an approved Study Permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) AND you live outside of Canada, you are considered an Overseas International Applicant.
As an Overseas International Applicant, you need to apply well in advance in order to ensure that you have enough time to apply for your Study Permit with the IRCC.
All Overseas International Applicants should observe the following timeframe for their application process.

If you are an international learner living in Canada with an approved Canadian Study Permit OR you reside overseas but have a valid Canadian Study Permit, you are considered an onshore applicant.

If you apply after the deadline your application will be automatically deferred to the next available intake.
All tuition fees should be paid by the respective deadlines. Your Acceptance Offer Letter is only valid after your full payment of the tuition deposit specified in the Letter. All international offshore applicants should pay their tuition before submitting a Study Permit application to the IRCC.
All international applicants who wish to apply for Algoma are required to provide proof of English language proficiency, except those learners who originate from exempt countries.
International learners who are citizens of exempt countries are not required to confirm their English proficiency.
